Terms of service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to anyone who books or attends a cohort or a workshop run by Cheat Mode Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By completing a booking you agree to these terms. If you are booking on behalf of your employer, you confirm you have authority to do so.

What we run

Cheat Mode runs AI training for the construction industry. Our main programme is a four-week cohort, plus a bonus week, delivered live online, with a capped number of places. We also run shorter workshops, online or in person. Details of each, including dates, times, format, and price, are set out on the relevant booking page.

We reserve the right to change the format, timing, or facilitators where reasonably necessary. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email with reasonable notice and offer you the option to transfer or receive a refund.

The cohort teaches you to use AI on your own material and to check its output. You remain responsible for everything you produce and issue. Nothing we teach transfers or reduces any professional duty you hold, and no output should be relied on without your own review and sign-off.

Booking and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. We use Stripe to process payments securely. We do not store your card details.

Cohort places. A place is held by paying a deposit, and is confirmed at that point. The deposit is refundable in full at any time before the cohort starts. The balance is payable 14 days before the cohort starts, and we will invoice you for it in advance of that date. If the balance is not paid by the start date we may release your place and refund the deposit in full.

Workshop seats. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full.

A place or ticket grants one named attendee access. Places are non-transferable without our prior written consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold: if you need to send a colleague instead, tell us before the start date.

Cancellations and refunds

Our refund policy applies to all cancellations. Please see our refund policy for full details.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop if, for example, the minimum number of attendees is not reached or due to circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days. We will not be liable for any other costs you have incurred, such as travel or accommodation.

Conduct

All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward other participants and facilitators. We reserve the right to remove any attendee who is disruptive or behaves inappropriately, without refund.

Intellectual property

All workshop materials, including slides, templates, prompts, and recordings, are the intellectual property of Cheat Mode Ltd. You may use materials for your own professional purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or resell them without our written permission.

Workshops may be recorded for internal quality and product improvement purposes. Where recordings include attendees, we will seek consent before publishing any such content externally.

Limitation of liability

Our workshops are educational in nature. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome as a result of attendance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any workshop is limited to the price you paid for that workshop.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
